OpenSSL Corporation Board of Directors Election Results

The election for the OpenSSL Corporation Board of Directors has now concluded. All eligible members have cast their votes, and it is confirmed that Tim Hudson has been reelected to the Board for a 3-year term.

Election Overview

Earlier this month, eligible Members of the OpenSSL Corporation voted to fill two open Board seats:

A 3-year seat, previously held by Tim Hudson.

A 2-year seat, vacated by Hugo Landau’s resignation.

We extend our gratitude to all nominees for their willingness to serve, as well as to the Members who participated and cast votes in support of our mission.

Official Results

3-Year Term: Tim Hudson was the sole nominee and has been re-elected to the Board.

2-Year Term: Vacant – No nominations were submitted for this seat.

As a result of the election, Tim Hudson—who is currently serving on the Board—will continue for a new three-year term. His present term concludes on February 28, 2025, and he will officially begin the new term on March 1, 2025, in accordance with our bylaws and the election timeline. The new term will end on February 28, 2028. Meanwhile, the two-year seat remains unfilled.

Officer Roles

Per the OpenSSL Corporation bylaws, the Board of Directors elects its officers roles: President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The newly constituted Board – Tim Hudson and Anton Arapov – has elected the following officer role

  • President: Tim Hudson
  • Treasurer & Secretary: Anton Arapov
